It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nikolaos Papadakis, Director of the “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” Foundation in Crete.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nikolaos Papadakis, Director of the “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” Foundation in Crete. He was far more than the guardian of the eternal flame of Venizelos’ legacy, he was a true visionary.
His devotion to the mission of the Foundation, both in Crete and throughout the world, was unparalleled. His personal commitment to preserving and promoting the work of Eleftherios Venizelos will be felt for generations to come.
He was also a valued friend to so many members and leaders of the Pancretan Association, always welcoming us with open arms and working alongside us on initiatives that advanced both our mission and that of the Foundation.
We will always remember him as a dear and trusted friend. His passing is a profound loss to us all. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and to his many friends around the world.
