Manhattan, NY – November 15, 2025 – AHEPA Delphi 25, one of the most dynamic chapters within the international AHEPA organization, successfully hosted its annual Delphi Gala on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the exquisite Tribeca Rooftop. The evening, marked by exceptional elegance, philanthropic commitment, and a truly memorable atmosphere, centered on the theme of “twin pillars,” celebrating two leaders who exemplify the organization’s highest ideals.
The chapter proudly presented the 2025 Delphi Award to two highly respected figures in the business, cultural, and religious community: Brother Paul J. Lountzis and V. Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert.
The evening commenced with an exquisite cocktail hour set against a breathtaking backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. Delphi members, supporters, and friends packed the cocktail area engaging in lively conversation, savoring the signature Delphi Figtini, and enjoying a refined selection of passed hors d’oeuvres.
As attendees moved into the dining room, the space was elegantly lit with a vibrant “Delphi Blue” hue, and the official program opened. After a powerful performance of the national anthems by baritone and Delphi Secretary Costas Tsourakis, His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos gave the invocation and opening greetings, followed by remarks from Mr. Petros Dorizas of the Consulate General of Greece and AHEPA Supreme Vice President Dr. Zenon Christodoulou. Delphi was also honored to have in attendance distinguished guests AHEPA Supreme Governor Dean Moskos, AHEPA District 6 Governor Gus Constantine, and AHEPA District 6 Athletic Director Paul Macropoulos.
A Focus on Legacy and Community Bridge-Building
As the honoree ceremony began, a common theme emerged – the critical importance of building bridges and establishing connections. Delphi President Paul Pavlakos underscored the significance of strengthening personal relationships, being a positive influence on each other’s lives, and transcending that influence into a guiding “light” within the NYC community.
The honorees expressed similar visions. Brother Lountzis delivered a moving address highlighting the incomparable work ethic and tenacity of his Greek immigrant parents, who were tirelessly motivated to serve as bridges to the success of their children and posterity. Fr. Gilbert further stressed the individual responsibility of every attendee to build bridges that allow us to serve our faith and our community.
The event not only celebrated these achievements but also cemented Delphi 25’s commitment to giving back, as Delphi pledged $5,000 from the night’s proceeds toward the Capital Campaign of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. The official program then transitioned into a celebration with high-energy music, dancing, and entertainment provided by Brother George Andreakos of International Sounds, ensuring an electric and memorable conclusion to the evening.
The success of the 2025 Delphi Gala stands as a testament to the dedication of Delphi members and the generosity of its supporters and friends.
