Hellenism in the Public Service is embodied in the many and diverse ways that Greek-Americans are giving back to the broader society. It can be thought of expansively to include not just service in the public sector, but volunteerism that ranges from a school fundraising drive to the service of a successful business entrepreneur on the board of a local hospital or museum. It is a wonderful expression of our proud heritage that Greek-Americans choose every day to contribute to the communities in which we live and work.
