Exports increased by 25% during the first six months of 2021, and direct foreign investments rose by 35% in the same time period, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion Kostas Fragogiannis said on Tuesday.
According to a statement by Enterprise Greece, the Foreign Ministry’s export-promotion agency, Fragogiannis made his statements at the first meeting of the agency’s Extroversion Council.
The National Strategic Extroversion Plan 2021 has achieved phenomenal results, with a development rate near 8% and more impressive results are expected in attracting investments, export promotion, and the general upgrade of the country’s image abroad, Fragogiannis said, according to Enterprise Greece.
