“We expect even greater growth in the real estate market in the coming years,” said Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, speaking at the 22nd Prodexpo conference held at the Athens Concert Hall.
The Minister noted that the development and attraction of new investments in the real estate market are among the top priorities of the government, and in this context, as he said, both the Ministry of Development and Investment and the government are open to new legislative initiatives to be proposed in the work of the 22nd Prodexpo, in order to alleviate obstacles to further growth and attract new investment. Besides, as the minister stated, the Greek real estate market has already shown a significant increase during the last two years and the government expects even greater growth in the coming years.
He noted that Elliniko, the expansion of Costa Navarino and other similar investments that are promoted, in combination with legislative interventions, such as the golden visa, the VAT exemption etc, have already contributed positively and will continue to have an effect, in the growth of the domestic real estate market.
