Ronald McDonald House New York, Greek Division honored Dr. Spiros Spireas, President and Chief Executive Officer of SigmaPharm Laboratories and a member of Leadership 100 and Paulette Poulos, Executive Director of Leadership 100, at its 24th Annual Christmas Dinner on December 10, 2019 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City.

Ronald McDonald House New York is “where hope has a home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families battling aggressive, recurring and rare childhood cancers. The Greek Division of Ronald McDonald House New York began in 1979 with the partnership of two friends who shared a dream: to support children and families suffering through the trials of pediatric cancer treatment. Since then the House has served over 10,000 Greek families battling pediatric cancer. The Greek community over the years has responded in immeasurable ways in return to keep the dream alive and raise funds for all children in need.

The evening began with a cocktail hour, followed by addresses from President & CEO Dr. Ruth Browne honoring Dr. Spireas and Ms. Poulos, who concluded her remarks with the charge, “I urge all of us gathered here this evening to please continue to support this beloved home and to spread the word that this is truly a meaningful ministry. Thank you.”
