United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Germany, Türkiye, and Greece consecutively between February 16-22, the State Department said on Wednesday.
According to the schedule released, Blinken will travel to Germany on February 16 to attend the Munich Security Conference. At the conference, he will participate in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings to discuss continued support for Ukraine, assistance to Türkiye and the Syrian people, and US commitment to transatlantic security and a rules-based international order.

He will visit Incirlik Air Base in Türkiye on February 19 to see firsthand US efforts to assist the Turkish authorities responding to the devastation caused by the February 6 earthquakes before travelling to Ankara to meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu and other senior Turkish officials. With them he will discuss continued US support to Türkiye and the Turkish people after the devastating earthquakes, as well as ways to further strengthen our partnership with Türkiye as a valued NATO ally.  Blinken will also thank the government of Türkiye for its support for cross-border aid to affected areas of Syria.

In Athens, Blinken will meet with Prime Minister Mitsotakis, Foreign Affairs Minister Dendias, and main opposition leader Alexis Tsipras to discuss defense cooperation, energy security, and the two countries’ shared commitment to defend democracy. He will launch the fourth round of the US-Greece Strategic Dialogue on February 21.
