There have been a lot of thoughts, suggestion, and research to the amount of protein individuals need at any given time. From a servings perspective, research has shown that individuals need 20 grams of protein per serving. This research is also true for athletes and bodybuilders. Consuming excess amounts of protein will yield negative effects on the human body such as weight gain (via fat) and kidney failure. For those individuals who work out consistently, remember to increase your calorie intake through a balanced eating regiment. Do not just increase your intake of protein. Happy eating everyone!
