Trump’s surprise

Dear Editor:

Donald Trump’s shockingly surprising victory over Hillary Clinton is reminiscent of the War of the Titans in Ancient Greek mythology, in which Kronos defeated his powerful opponents.

Trump turned mythology into reality, first by disposing the seventeen Titans, then besting the eight super Titans who campaigned against him: the former President of the United States and his wife; the President of the United States and his wife; the Vice President of the United States and the candidate for Vice President; the Senator from Vermont who also ran for President but lost in the primaries; and, the Hillary-like very powerful Senator from Massachusetts.

Now, let’s give the President-elect our support and, yes, whether we voted for him or not, let us unite and help him “Make America Great Again!”
