The Ministry of Economy and Finance sets five key priorities in the conduct of economic policy for 2025. Ministry officials told ANA-MPA that these are expected to be included in the relevant portfolio of priorities per ministry for next year, which will be served to each minister either at Monday’s cabinet meeting or in January. The same sources said that the groundwork will be laid in 2025 and some results will be visible from 2026 onwards.
Specifically, the five priorities are:
Continuation of the fight against tax evasion.
Utilization of public assets and privatization.
Implementation of the legislation on banks and servicers.
Intensify efforts to achieve further convergence with other EU Member States. That is, achieving primary surpluses, with high growth, reduction of public and private debt, and reduction of unemployment.
Focus on the middle-class income.
