Holiday season shopping traffic is at its peak with clothing and footwear at the top of consumers’ preferences, followed by gifts, toys and cosmetics, while merchants expect their turnover to exceed last year’s levels.
On New Year’s Eve, stores will be open until 6 pm and supermarkets until 8 pm. They will be closed on Wednesday, January 1 and Thursday, January 2.
