Greek stocks ended higher on the Athens Stock Exchange in 2024. The index completes its fourth consecutive year of rise (39.08% in 2023, 4.08% in 2022, and 10.43% in 2021).
The index rose 13.65% to close at 1,469.67 points, up from 1,293.14 points in 2023. The Large-Cap index ended 14.34% higher, and the Mid-Cap index rose 3.70%. The banking index ended 21.14% higher.
The average daily value of transactions increased by about 26% and stood close to 140.2 million euros compared to 111 million euros in 2023. Turnover increased by 15.257 billion euros and stood at 103.145 billion euros.
