Just ahead of the holiday season, Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos embarked on a productive tour of AHEPA’s Western Chapters. Accompanied by Supreme Governor Marshall Monsell and Supreme Treasurer Themistocles Frangos, the tour included visits to Albuquerque, NM; Salt Lake City and Ogden, UT; Cheyenne, WY; and Denver, CO. The initiative focused on strengthening AHEPA programs and supporting chapters as they worked toward their year-end goals.
Highlights of the Tour
The tour kicked off following the Supreme President’s participation in a successful Journey to Greece fundraiser. In Cheyenne, WY, Cowboy Chapter 211, which was chartered in 1929, hosted a special dinner event. Supreme President Tsivicos delivered an inspiring address on AHEPA’s enduring mission in the West and presented Past Supreme Governor Tim Joannides with an AHEPA Heroes Medal in recognition of his dedicated service.
The week concluded with the Denver AHEPA Chapter 145’s annual Christmas dinner, a cherished tradition attended by more than 200 members and their families. Supreme President Tsivicos, joined by Sons of Pericles (SOP) Supreme Governor George Antonellis, shared motivational remarks about AHEPA’s mission and vision for the future. The event also offered an opportunity for SOP Rocky Mountain Chapter 83 officers to engage with the leadership.
Gratitude for a Successful Visit
Special thanks go to Supreme Governor Marshall Monsell for his exceptional coordination of the visit and to all the brothers who contributed to the success of this Western Visitation Week. The tour showcased the unity, fellowship, and commitment of AHEPA members, reinforcing the organization’s mission to promote Hellenism, education, and community service across the region.
