On the occasion of the second anniversary since the train accident in Tempi, the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou said: “The tragedy of Tempi is a black page in our history. The pain and anger over the lives lost touches the whole of society. The accident and the open questions that accompany it shake citizens’ trust in the institutions.”
“Two years later, the demand for truth, accountability and justice is universal and of fundamental importance to our State,” concluded Sakellaropoulou.
