NILES, IL – October 5, 2025 – The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation will hold a 10-year memorial service on Sunday, October 5, at Holy Taxiarhai & St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Niles, Illinois, to honor the life and enduring legacy of its founder, Chris P. Tomaras.
The service invites the community to come together in remembrance of Mr. Tomaras, a visionary Greek-American philanthropist whose generosity continues to shape the lives of students and families across the country.

Since its establishment, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $5 million in scholarships to over 760 students. These accomplishments reflect the mission of its founder, who believed deeply in empowering the next generation of Greek-Americans through education and opportunity.
