Manhattan, NY – March 27, 2026 – The Brothers of AHEPA Delphi 25 are proud to announce that our esteemed Brother, Basil Katsamakis, is seeking the office of Lieutenant Governor of AHEPA Empire District 6 (New York) at the 2026 AHEPA District 6 Convention.
Brother Basil’s candidacy reflects a lifetime of dedication to the ideals of AHEPA: Hellenism, education, philanthropy, and service. From his early years in the Sons of Pericles, where he served as Treasurer and helped organize chapter initiatives, to his decades-long leadership within AHEPA, Basil has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening our community.
As a founding force behind the resurgence of Delphi 25, Brother Basil helped transform our chapter from just a handful of members into the largest in District 6 and one of the largest in the international AHEPA domain. His past leadership as Chapter Vice President and current service as Education Director have left a lasting impact, reflecting Delphi 25’s commitment to education initiatives.
At the district level, Basil’s influence has been equally profound, working with District 6 Brothers to advance the Hellenic History Tournament. In serving as President of the District 6 Scholarship Fund, he modernized the application process, expanded donor engagement, and increased scholarship opportunities—including new pathways for vocational students and support for graduates of St. Basil’s Academy. His vision has elevated both the visibility and impact of the fund, ensuring greater access to education for future generations.
Professionally, Basil brings over four decades of executive leadership experience, including his role as an Operating Partner at Quad Partners, where he helped grow and guide multiple educational institutions across the country. His background in education, strategic growth, and organizational leadership uniquely positions him to serve District 6 with integrity and effectiveness.
Brother Basil’s campaign is rooted in four core priorities:
- Strengthening Chapter Growth & Engagement across District 6
- Expanding Educational & Scholarship Opportunities for our youth
- Enhancing Connectivity & Collaboration between chapters
- Establishing an Annual Charity Gala for a cause to be decided by District 6 members
