Just two years ago, Greek Cypriot artist Diana Kemp had never painted professionally. In March 2024, a persistent inner voice compelled her to pick up a brush. Since then, she has created 140 unique abstract acrylic and mixed-media paintings.
Guided purely by intuition, Kemp developed her own technique of “automatic painting,” allowing each canvas to emerge spontaneously from emotion and instinct. Her vibrant, dreamlike abstract works have quickly gained recognition, earning selections and awards in numerous 2026 juried exhibitions.
Her painting Gold Rush was exhibited at Las Laguna Art Gallery in June 2026. Her work is now represented by Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
