Washington, DC: Representative Gus Bilirakis and Representative Carolyn Maloney spearheaded a joint Congressional letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in support of the U.S.-Greece Strategic Dialogue taking place today, December 13, 2018. Today’s dialogue marks a significant transition in strengthening the bilateral relationship. Greece continues to play a pivotal role in Eastern Mediterranean stability, NATO missions, and regional cooperative efforts, such as the facilitation of productive partnerships between Israel and Cyprus. The dialogue reaffirms the importance of the U.S.-Greece allied relationship and the robust commitment to the importance of the partnership.
