Venus Jewelers Honored By Franklin Township Chamber Of Commerce

 

Venus Jewelers was honored by the Franklin Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, January 29th at the Marigold in Somerset, NJ. Assemblyman Joe Danielson, Director of Freeholders Shanel Robinson, Mayor Phil Kramer, newly elected Sheriff Darrin Russo and over 150 guests were in attendance to celebrate the FTCOC’s 60th year of service and its current and past presidents. They also honored members of the community in five different categories whose work has impacted the Franklin Township community.

Dr. Peter Stavrianidis, principal of Venus Jewelers, accepted the honor with a speech that addressed the positive change and mercantile cooperation effected by the Franklin Chamber of Commerce. He said, “For 40 years in this township we have demonstrated consistency and utmost service for our clients. We have been avid supporters of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce and numerous philanthropic projects and non-profit organizations over the years that have made this community very special in our county, in our state, in our country. As a fifth – generation family business we are always striving for excellence and we are passionately in love with what we do”. 

The honorees were Venus Jewelers, for Small Business, Nicolas DiMeglio, for Volunteerism, Sheriff Darrin Russo for Public Service, Trap Rock and L’Oreal for Large Corporations, and Visions and Pathways for Non-Profit.
