Kiersten Spanos is the daughter of Theodore Spanos , the granddaughter of George and Fay Spanos, and the great granddaughter of Skevos and Kaliope Zaharopoulos who proudly served St. Nicholas Orthodox church for twenty years. She was born in Dunedin, Florida on June 14, 2002 and has family origins from Piraeus and Kalymnos, Greece where she spends her summers with family.
Kiersten is a Sophmore at Tarpon Springs Highschool, and is currently enrolled in their Veterinary Assistant and TSHS orchestra programs. She has had an affection for animals and music since very little and has played the cello for five years. She currently volunteers at both Westlake Animal Hospital and The Veterinary Clinic of Palm Harbor.

Being an active member of Saint Nicholas church since the age of eight, she has taken six years of Greek school, been in the choir since eleven years old with her grandmother and danced with St. Nicholas dance ministry for six years. This year, Kiersten has been honored with the opportunity to be the Dove Bearer for the 2018 Epiphany celebration and is excited to be apart of such a blessed and spiritually fulfilling experience.
