“This is our 100th anniversary,” echoed throughout the Delta terminal in the summer of 2025. I realized the significance when I was warmly greeted in Greek by a flight attendant—speaking with a Midwestern accent. Delta is clearly making an effort to connect with the many Greek passengers on its non-stop flight to Athens in June 2025. I had never heard so much Greek spoken on a flight before—what a transformation!
The special services divisions at both JFK and Athens airports were excellent. In Athens, the “Self Serve” division was excellent.Delta’s non-stop flights remain the best way to travel to Athens, Greece.
