New York, NY – The Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY) Greek Division will celebrate the 31st Anniversary of the Niki Sideris Annual Walk and Spring Festival on Saturday, May 2, 2025, at Ronald McDonald House New York, 405 East 73rd Street in Manhattan.
Founded by the late Niki Sideris, the Greek Division continues its longstanding mission of supporting children and families battling pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses. For decades, the Greek community has provided vital assistance to families from Greece, Cyprus, the Greek-American community, and children from around the world who travel to New York City seeking advanced medical treatment unavailable in their home countries.
The Annual Walk and Spring Festival has become a signature philanthropic tradition, raising essential funds and awareness while celebrating unity, generosity, and Hellenic heritage. The family-friendly event brings together parishes, schools, organizations, and community leaders in a shared effort to support children facing critical health challenges.
This year’s Chairperson is Kalomira Sarantis-Boosalis, Greek-American pop star, songwriter, and television personality, known as the 2004 Fame Story winner and Greece’s representative at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.
Participants are encouraged to register, create peer-to-peer fundraising pages, and invite family, friends, and colleagues to join the effort. Sponsorship and commemorative T-shirt opportunities are available.
