Dear Hellenic News:
For a few days now work to raise the western and southwest walls by approximately 2 feet and come at the same level with the other sides of the building erected this summer.
Tomorrow and Thursday, we expect to strip the walls from the concrete forms. Doing this we finish all of the concrete work with walls.
At the top of the walls most of the concrete pockets need to be closed with cement blocks from outside before the installation of steel beams next week.
Also this week it is expected to raise walls of 28 inches high between the five columns close to the theater. On the top, we will sit fixed glass with a metal frame between columns.
We have a small list with preparations needed to be completed before the arrival of steel beams and steel company workers early next week. We could do this after the steel beams are in place but it is easier now with the good weather we have.
Best wishes,
Ilias
