Greece on Wednesday successfully auctioned a 52-week Treasury bills issue, raising 600 million euros from the market at a slightly lower interest rate.
More specifically, the interest rate of the issue was set at 2.15%, down from 2.27% in the previous auction on December 4, 2024.
Bids submitted totaled 934 million euros, 1.87 times more than the asked sum. The auction was open to the market’s primary dealers.
