Hermes Expo 35th Anniversary Set for April 29, 2026 at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey
Old Bridge, New Jersey — Hermes Expo International will honor Father Paul Pappas with the Spiritual Leadership Award during the 35th Anniversary Hermes Expo Awards Celebration on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Founded in 1992, Hermes Expo has become one of the most recognized Greek-American business gatherings in the United States, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, chambers of commerce, institutions, educators, clergy, and community leaders. For thirty-five years, the Expo has served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and the advancement of Greek-American enterprise.
The Spiritual Leadership Award recognizes clergy whose dedication to faith, pastoral leadership, and community service has strengthened the spiritual and cultural life of the Greek-American community.
Father Paul Pappas, a graduate of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, began his ministry in 2006 when he was assigned to the Metropolis of New Jersey. Following his ordination to the diaconate, he served the Metropolis of Boston as deacon to Metropolitan Methodios of Boston. After two years, he was ordained to the priesthood and served as associate priest at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston, Massachusetts. Father Paul later served at Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, Florida, before being assigned to Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Toms River, New Jersey, where he continues his ministry.
